Terms of purchase contract - Kids and Rabbits
There are many things to consider before purchasing a rabbit for a child. If you haven't read the "care and more" page you should do so. A rabbit can live 10 years or more in some cases and requires care for it's whole life. It's important to realize that if you are buying a rabbit for someone under 18 that rabbit is YOUR responsibility! It should be considered a family pet. If your child should fail to take care of the rabbit or lose interest it is YOUR responsibility to take care of that rabbit for the rest of it's natural life. Rabbits are not a throw away pet! In purchasing a rabbit from Firedove Rabbitry you agree to give your rabbit a life long home unless extrodinary circumstances force you to rehome him or her. Also if you do decide to rehome your rabbit you must contact me by e-mail at firedoverabbitry@hotmail.com or by phone 603-585-9289 and give me the chance to take the rabbit back. Usually I will if I have a cage open or if the rabbit comes back with a cage. I work very hard to see that rabbits purchased here do not end up in shelters. If you are not prepared to give your rabbit a life long home and care for it even if your child loses interest, moves on to college, etc.. then you should not purchase a rabbit from us!
In purchasing a rabbit from Firedove Rabbitry the buyer agrees to the above terms as they apply to him or her.
